Thirty-five years later, we still fit like a glove.

If you work with your hands, chances are you’ve pulled on a pair of Mechanix Wear gloves. Maybe in the military. On a construction crew. Under the hood of a truck. In your own garage, fixing what needs fixing. Work has a way of finding the hands willing to meet it.

In 1991, we handed The Original® mechanic’s glove to the pit crew of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, driven by Dale Earnhardt and lit the fuse on a high-performance work glove revolution. From that moment on, the standard was set, dexterity you could feel, durability you could trust. We haven’t let up since. Thirty-five years later, the fit is better, the feel is sharper, and the function is refined by hard-earned experience and modern engineering. These are still the gloves professionals and DIYers reach for when the work matters.

Our COR3 models are built for the end user—the person doing the job, not talking about it. The Original® and FastFit® feature CoolPlus® woven-mesh backs to keep hands cool, while the Freedom-Flex cuff on the Original® moves naturally and never bunches. FastFit® gloves add abrasion-resistant Ripstop fabric, a neoprene knuckle panel for protection, and single-seam wrapped fingertips for cleaner feel and better control.

Vented palm padding absorbs light impact. A two-piece palm prevents bunching. All models include our welded Lock Ring™, built to last, and reinforced fingertip coverings where wear shows up first. Touchscreen-capable synthetic leather palms keep you connected without stripping off your gloves.

The M-Pact® takes it further. Thermoplastic Rubber knuckle protection meets EN 388 impact standards, guarding against blunt force without sacrificing movement. AirHammer™ palm padding wraps the hand with 2mm D3O® to absorb hard hits and reduce fatigue. Abrasion-resistant Ripstop on the back sheds snags and water, while the extended hook-and-loop wrist closure locks everything in place.

These gloves are made for long days, rough work, and the quiet satisfaction of getting it done right. Same purpose as always. Just better at it.
