Warranty & Consumer Rights (Australia)
At Mechanix Wear, we are committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. As a consumer, you are entitled to rights and remedies under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (“the Act”).
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law, our products must:
- Be of acceptable quality, safe and free from defects,
- Be fit for purpose,
- Match their description or sample.
If a product does not meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy such as repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue.
How to Make a Claim
If you believe your product does not meet these guarantees, you should return the product
to the place of purchase, along with proof of purchase, to seek a remedy.
This is because, under Australian Consumer Law, the seller (retailer) is responsible for
providing a remedy in the first instance.
